 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – November 3, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper reported today a third quarter 2005 net loss of $1.5 million, or $0.10 per diluted common share. Net income in the third quarter of 2004, during which operations were part of Kimberly-Clark, was $4.5 million and did not include interest expense or other costs attributable to operating as a stand-alone company.

 ALPHARETTA, GA. (September 26, 2005) - Neenah Paper (NYSE: NP) announced its annual report was recently honored in two premier competitions. The report won awards in both the 2005 MerComm Annual Report Competition (ARC Awards) and the 2005 Premier Print Awards (the Bennys). The ARC competition is among the largest and most prestigious in its field and Neenah Paper received a Gold ARC Award for Best Overall Annual Report in the paper industry and a Grand ARC award for Best Overall Presentation using specialty production techniques. Competition in the Bennys is equally prestigious in the printing industry and Neenah’s report won a Best of Category award in its class.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – August 3, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper reported today second quarter 2005 net income of $6.8 million, or $0.46 per diluted common share. Results included $0.07 per share for restructuring charges related to the previously announced closure of the Terrace Bay No. 1 pulp mill on May 1. Net income in the second quarter of 2004, during which operations were part of Kimberly-Clark, was $23.7 million, but did not include interest expense or other changes attributable to being a stand-alone company.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – July 19, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper announced that it has expanded its fine and technical paper product lines to include new UV/ULTRA® Web+PlusTM colored and transparent translucent papers in its fine paper business and new KIMDURA® synthetic papers for labels and tags. The new translucent Web+PlusTM papers will be manufactured for Neenah Paper by Sihl Paper, a well-known global manufacturer of specialty papers based in Switzerland, and will provide Neenah Paper customers a broader range of printing applications for these types of papers. The new lines of KIMDURA® technical papers will expand Neenah Paper’s portfolio of synthetic papers and were the result of a joint development project utilizing technical expertise of both Neenah Paper and a third party multinational.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – May 19, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper today announced that its woodlands operations in both Ontario and in Nova Scotia, Canada have earned certification from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) program, an international program dedicated to sustainable forestry practices. SFI® certification, based upon the results of an independent, third-party audit, confirms that Neenah Paper’s forests are being managed in a manner that demonstrates a clear commitment to the environmental, social, and economic attributes associated with sustainable forest management.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – May 11, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper reported today first quarter 2005 net income of $2.7 million, or $0.18 per diluted common share. Results included $0.19 per share for restructuring and asset impairment charges related to the previously announced closure of the Terrace Bay No. 1 pulp mill. Net income in the first quarter of 2004, during which operations were part of Kimberly-Clark, was $15.1 million or $1.03 per diluted common share and did not include interest expense or other changes resulting from being a stand-alone company.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – April 26, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share on its common stock. The dividend is payable on June 2, 2005 to stockholders of record as of close of business on May 6, 2005.

 ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – March 23, 2005 (NYSE:NP) – Neenah Paper today reported a net loss of $26.4 million, or $1.79 per diluted common share, for the full year 2004, including after-tax charges of $72.0 million for the previously announced impairment of Terrace Bay pulp assets and $2.9 million for one-time transaction costs incurred prior to the spin-off and assigned to Neenah Paper. Net income for 2003 was $38.9 million or $2.64 per diluted common share. Neenah Paper operations were part of Kimberly-Clark through November 30, 2004 and consequently results do not fully reflect changes for higher pulp discounts, corporate costs and interest expense expected as a stand-alone company.

The brand features three palettes and unique surface finishes previously unexplored on paper and was inspired by the legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames. The finishes not only embrace the Eames spirit in principle, but also specifically connect to the textures, patterns and colors found in their architecture, design and photography and the Collection was developed to give graphic designers and paper enthusiasts a new toolkit of papers to inspire their printed promotions and projects

 Neenah Paper (NYSE: NP) today announced its intention to close the smaller of its two pulp mills at its Terrace Bay, Ontario pulp operation. The No. 1 mill, originally built in 1948, has annual capacity of approximately 125,000 metric tons of pulp. The company expects to incur charges of $7 million, comprised of approximately $6 million of cash costs, primarily for early retirement and severance packages being offered to approximately 130 employees, as well as non-cash charges of $1 million to impair the remaining book value of the associated long-lived assets. The No. 1 mill is expected to close in the second quarter.
