Dear Valued Customer,
Today Neenah Paper announced the completion of the acquisition of the Gessner and Lahnstein operations in Germany. The addition of these three former FiberMark manufacturing facilities continues our shift from a pulp and paper company to one that focuses on fine papers and technical products.
Gessner and Lahnstein are leaders in the markets in which they participate and add technology, scale and experience to those of Neenah’s Munising, MI based Technical Products facility. The coming together of these facilities will enable us to enhance our product offering and service to our collective base of customers, assuring you of a consistent and innovative source of supply. We look forward to offering you this expanded range of valuable product solutions in order to become a more important supplier to your company and growing our businesses together.
Regardless of whether your products currently come from the Munising, Gessner or Lahnstein facilities, this acquisition will not affect any of your day-to-day interactions, contact points or services at this time. Initially, our goal is to keep this expansion transparent to you and your company. Once we have progressed through the integration, we will look forward to sharing our combined capabilities with you and your team in order to determine how we might better meet your future needs for technically sophisticated products.
You may wish to review the Press Release announcing the completion of this transaction for additional information and visit this website for updates.
Thank you for your continued support of Neenah Paper. If you have any questions or new opportunities with which we can help, you need only call your sales representative to discuss them.
Sincerely,
Gregory G. Burdick
